The Blusurf Team of professional athletes consists of three of the sports most talented surf-style riders who blend big air and surface maneuvers with a style and grace each their own. Consistent with the Blusurf build philosophy, the team is small in numbers while validated by many National and World Titles amongst each. Blusurf Athletes are a direct conduit to design influence and push the technical performance of each board as they compete at the highest levels.
Respectfully dubbed "GDP", Jake is what we call a Game Day Player in which he is always ready to ride and compete. Jake has grown up on the water and is a pure enthusiast of being behind the boat. Possessing one of the most natural ocean-like riding styles, Jake has ridden his way to both National and World titles and is passionate about continuing to progress his riding. Jake is truly one of the nicest young riders around and a great ambassador for the sport.

A great example of the family culture in lake life and competitive wake surfing, Shawn is a father making noise in the Men's Masters Surf division joining in on the fun competing along side of son Jake. "I love being on the lake helping Jake achieve his surfing ambitions. As boat driver, I'm there to encourage and support. When there is extra time, I love taking my best shot at a few new wake surf tricks with Jake as my coach and inspiration!" says Shawn. Riding his way to a third place finish at the 2016 Nationals and qualifying for Worlds, we'd say Shawn is making great use of that "extra time". Shawn consistently volunteers to assist at competitions quick to run the chase jet skis and offer genuine support and encouragement to his fellow competitors.
